GLAMDESERTThe story begins in 2012, when Su went on a mission to Shanghai, China, with her husband, son and upcoming new life. In this strange country, she rolled up her sleeves and embarked on a journey to explore doing business in China.
Initially, her goal was just to find the “perfect fabric” for her upcoming son. But over time, her passion evolved into a desire for beautiful little clothes. After months of research and testing, Wendy decided to choose bamboo as her fabric source, pursuing a feel that was very different from traditional cotton—a perfect blend like cashmere and silk.
“I’m always looking for fabrics that are soft, durable, hypoallergenic and sustainable,” says Su. After witnessing bamboo stalks grow several inches overnight, she worked with a local factory to develop a certified perfect blend.
